Soul Ride mountain bike guides and team members are committed to showing our clients Arizona’s pristine mountain biking trails. Our mountain bike guides have a unique skills that sets us apart from a typical bike shop/guide service. We are a passionate group of individuals that have a love for the outdoors which inspires a unique riding experience. Each team member brings an authentic style and approach to your adventure, ensuring a fun guided tour, informative skills classes, the very best in bike mechanics, and customer service. Soul Rides mission is to bring the mountain bike lifestyle to all ages and abilities, we believe bikes are for everyone. We look forward to riding with you!

  • Cina is a founder of Soul Ride, passionate mountain biker and a mother of two awesome kids. She grew up in the San Gabriel Mountains in Southern California where she began racing skis and snowboards at a young age. Cina had the joy of living in South Lake Tahoe, Hawaii and San Diego before moving to Prescott where she was introduced to the sport of mountain biking and naturally fell in love. Comfortable with downhill speed and able to pick a great fall line, mountain biking was the next best thing to shredding the slopes. She is also an IMBA level 1 ICP, and is certified in CPR and First AID as well as, a level 3 NICA coach. As a licensed NCBT for over fifteen years, Cina has an in depth understanding of human anatomy and body mechanics. Her expertise in body work will help you align your body with your bike for optimal flow. Cina’s love for the outdoors and enthusiasm for mountain biking will get you excited for the journey on and off your bike.

  • Kate is a founder of Soul Ride, an avid mountain biker, committed mother and Masters level wellness counselor with over a decade plus of experience focusing on women’s health and human development. She is a certified IMBA level 1 instructor, a level 3 NICA coach, and is certified in CPR and First AID. Kate has great experience helping youth athletes gain confidence, skill as well as, develop a life long passion for mountain biking, she is the former head coach of the largest Middle School Composite MTB team in the state of Arizona, and is proud of her work developing youth cycling in Prescott. Additionally, she has years of experience as skills coach, specializing in supporting new riders as they take on the sport of Mountain Biking .

  • Zach Stanford, Shop Manager and Head Mechanic. Zach brings a passion for life and extensive knowledge of mountain bike mechanics to Soul Ride. After working on bikes part time for many years in the Midwest, Zach left his full time gigs in corporate accounting and middle school teaching in 2012 to working full time in the mountain bike industry. First at the Bike and Bean in Sedona, Arizona. During his time at the Bean, he deepened his knowledge of in-depth, elaborate bike repairs, and periodic maintenance. Zach has a long history of racing cross country, endurance, road, and cyclocross. He and his wife Sara moved to Prescott in 2007 from Illinois and just returned after 6 years in Sedona. Zach and Sara are so excited to be a part of the Soul Ride family. Always genuine, Zach has the personality, enthusiasm and experience you are looking for in a master mechanic, he looks forward to helping you keep your bike running just the way you like it!

  • Josh Coffin, Co-Shop Manager. Josh brings years of experience as an expert Bike Mechanic and Back Country Guide. Josh left his beloved Colorado to be a family man in beautiful Prescott Arizona. The Soul Ride fam is beyond stoked to have him join our shop family. He has a passion for riding and exploring on his various mountain and gravel bikes. Josh, has quickly become an expert connoisseur of our local trail system, and is more than happy to set you up on the perfect ride while you visit our extensive trail system. His attention to detail during every bike repair is something to behold. He brings a passion for life that is infections. Let him set you up on your bike and get your ride dialed to your specific needs. Everyone is his best customer.

  • Jeff Welch, Shop Mechanic/Bartender. When Jeff isn’t busy teaching Math to the youth of Prescott you can find him at the shop wrenching on bikes or pouring cold pints. Jeff has been with the shop for years and always has time to work with clients and share his extensive knowledge of wrenching and racing mountain bikes. Jeff is truly one of the nicest guys, he always has time for all Soul Rides’ clients.

  • Josh Laumann, Shop Mechanic. Josh is an extremely talented mechanic. He can deconstruct the most difficult of mechanical issues, and has never met a bike he cannot repair. After tiring of Minnesota winters, Josh brought his talents and extensive knowledge of bike mechanics to sunny Prescott, Arizona. He is an avid participant in our Sunday Shop Rides and when he isn’t wrenching at the shop he’s on the trail rippin’ on his mountain bike or exploring the back roads of Arizona by dirt bike. Need an adventure, come chat Josh up about our excellent P-town trail system.

  • Soul Ride’s very own Yoga instructor Julie Munro makes retreats, yoga-tours and shop yoga nights something special. Julie has been living in and enjoying the Prescott area since 1981. She bought her first mountain bike in 1983 and had been riding and enjoying Prescott trails ever since. Julie is Adventure Education faculty at Prescott College and teaches both outdoor leadership courses and yoga. She has over 1000 hours of teacher training and yoga certifications, including a 500 hour teacher certification for the American Viniyoga Institute. She is also the founder of Satya Yoga, a yoga alliance, registered yoga school. Julie trains approximately 15 new teachers a year. She has also held a Wilderness First Responded certification since 1989. Julie’s favorite way to relax is to go mountain biking with her dog and enjoy quiet time in nature.
